For the last 3" CDr release on Hibernate, the series bows out with this terrific electro-acoustic package by Field Rotation. Field Rotation was founded back in 2008 by Kiel, Germany based composer Christoph Berg. For 'Why Things Are Different', Christoph uses a range of acoustic instruments, field recordings and electronic processing techniques to provide what he describes as a small soundtrack to last winter. Throughout this short record, Field Rotation's soundtrack is slow and consists of the kind of deep drones he is renowned for skillfully creating. It is his first 3" CDr release and follows on for his acclaimed 'Licht Und Schatten', released last year on Fluid Audio.
